‘Desert Rosewood presents a rich, amber and woody fragrance that evokes thick, arid deep forests . A heady rush of resinous Australian Desert Rosewood reveals a sweetness of mandarin and vanilla, before finally settling into an exotic blend of wood and spices. The perfect scent for women and men who love amber, vanilla and leathery notes.’ – Goldfield & Banks
This one sits in between the lovely White Sandalwood and the Wood Infusion that I’m not a fan of. A pleasant and solid scent, with a nice sweetness. Probably closest to something like their Silky Woods. Desert Rosewood is more subtle however and I feel like this is a bit of an understated and therefore underrated scent from the brand. I’m not saying it’s better than Silky Woods per se, but it does deserve some more attention. That being said, it is a somewhat generic sweet woody scent with some spiciness. It’s hard to explain properly, as it feels very well blended into one big smooth accord. Not too shabby.
