Cartier Declaration is a fragrance that I always appreciated, but its spices (not quite cumin, but close) make it a bit hard to wear. I do prefer the EDT over the EDP, because it’s less linear.
However, my favorite version is this Declaration D’Un Soir. In the opening it’s green and fresh, but it’s not as spicy as the original. It has an almost minty, eucalyptus-esque in freshness and it exudes a calming presence. It shouldn’t surprise you that this isn’t my favorite part of the fragrance though.
As it dries more and more of a light, watery, but not traditionally feminine leaning rose comes through. It warms up slightly and it becomes a very subtle, office-ready scent. Think in the direction of Moschino Toy Boy, but less spicy.
