‘A herbal and lemony freshness paves the way for a stunning and elegant leather, its woody power discreetly tamed by a white floral heart. Paul Vacher knew his stuff when it came to leather: in the early 1960s, Christian Dior commissioned him for a powerful and haughty women’s fragrance. The perfumer composed what would later become Diorling, a leathery chypre scent. Earlier in his career, he also co-created Lanvin’s Scandal, a dark leathery scent.
