To my own surprise, I truly liked this fragrances… for approximately 10 minutes. The opening of Cosmic 2.0 is bright, zesty, citrussy/fruity (although I don’t smell pear). And it’s powdery. This type of powdery, musky, lemon-acidity was a bit unexpected and rather refreshing.

Fast-forward 10 minutes and all the acidity, the brightness, the citrus… it’s gone. Cosmic 2.0 becomes candied and dries into a generic vanillic-caramelized hairspray without any discernible identity of its own. There is some spiciness, but it’s overpowered by the sweetness and while not unpleasant, it’s about as average and redundant as it gets.
