If you’re looking for a sparkling, refreshing glass of Coke, Comme Un Carrousel is not what you’re looking for. Here you get more of the spicy and slightly medicinal angles of Coca-Cola at the forefront.

What I get from this is a slightly smoky, ashy tobacco, with a dense, but subtle cola-ish scent, maybe more like cough syrup. It’s mostly spicy, with cinnamon being a prominent note. The overall scent is uplifting, Christmassy and I’d say a bit retro.

I definitely get some booziness, maybe reminding me of a Winter/Christmas market with gluhwein. At the same time, it reminds me of (cheap) hard candies with some cola and orange flavoring. There’s definitely a hint of fruitiness throughout.

In the drydown this gets very similar to Der Duft Cinematic.

Overall, a fun, middle of the road fragrance, but not the most exciting thing Prin has done.
