I’ve been enjoying my Acqua Di Parma Colonia Essenza in the hot weather. And while Colonia Essenza reminds me a lot of my late grandfather, I wouldn’t call it outdated.

Would I want to wear it daily or on a date night? Not really, but in high heat and especially outdoors in the sun it feels invigorating. I can imagine a teenager not loving this, but being a 30+ year old, Colonia Essenza brings a maturity and elegance that’s easy to appreciate as an office scent, while still having the levity to be a dumb reach for most occasion. The best thing about this fragrance is how sparkling the opening feels.
