Coco Vanille is a peachy floral tropical scent. Basically a sun-tan lotion with a bigger dose of vanilla, but you’d be hard-pressed to find any coconut in the scent. In fairness to Mancera, this is often the case with this style of fragrances and frankly, it doesn’t appeal much to me.
You get a typical fruity, peachy musk with the milky sun-tan vibe. The vanilla is pretty prominent, but it’s too acidic and floral to go into a gourmand direction. It can be bordering on cloying to some I’d presume, because it is sweet throughout.
Mancera has done a lot of good more recently for me, with releases like French Riviera, Melody Of The Sun, Jasmin Exclusif and Fabolous Yuzu. Unfortunately, Coco Vanille takes me back to the Mancera that I knew, which means that the floral, sweetness and fruitiness blend together in a slightly cloying, loud scent that serves it’s purpose (at a decent price), but doesn’t excite me.
