Cinematic is overdosed in a musky spiciness. There’s no cinnamon listed, but I get loads of that to my nose, as well as the scent of a rum & Coke. What is listed are ginger, lemon and civet and you get that tart acidity from the start.

It is all over the place, but in a good way. This is an energizing, invigorating and simply fun fragrance. There are moments where Cinematic smells like a jawbreaker or flavored bubblegum and there are moments that it smells like drink to me. Either way, it feels prickly. Ever so slightly prickly or fuzzy, like the frost on something straight out of the freezer. Yet, it’s warm.

It’s hard to explain and even harder to make references for; the one that comes in mind is Aaron Terence Hughes Arabica, but only slightly. Cinematic is brighter with the citrus and easier to pull off.
