Cin Fan is probably my favorite Jijide so far (I still need to try Fuoco on skin at the time of writing). Cin Fan instantly stood out for me both in scent and texture.
Balmy, warm, sweet. This has a slightly band-aid-esque vanilla, that at times has the resinous, balmy texture of a candle, a bit powdery too, but most of the times feels more like a sun tan lotion. It’s made more vivacious by the bergamot and citrus; a lovely mix of those notes and vanilla. One of the most comforting scents in the Jijide line, although it does get very powdery as it dries, so that has to be your cup of tea. Aside from it being sweeter, this felt almost vintage-y in a less aromatic Guerlain Jicky kind of direction.
As it dries, the woodiness come through more and more, but it remains sweet, warm and soft. I could see performance being on the weak side for this one, but as a skin scent it was an amazing first impression. Mind you, other things I’ve read about this one indicate a much more citrus/floral scent and less vanillic, but I can only speak to the (official brand’s) sample that I have.
