Nissaba is a new fragrance brand that I can 100% get behind; using good perfumers and a high percentage of quality natural ingredients.
Chaco is the lightest and brightest of the line, described as a ‘tea-cologne’. On first impression, this is an easy-going and zen-inducing wear. As with many fragrance of this style, the mate leaves create the tea in combination in bergamot and citrus. The petitgrain provides a hint of green, albeit not as green or aromatic as most tea scents like it. Instead it remains rather citrussy.
I’ve only worn it once at the time of writing, but, while being light, longevity actually seems surprisingly solid. Especially because the citrussy brightness lasts throughout. I couldn’t find any florals listed in this composition, but to my nose there’s a (completely non-indolic) jasmine tinge to the composition as well.
Great fragrance for warm weather, albeit it more a subtle and comforting one, than a statement maker or an unfamiliar experience for most long-time fragrance wearers.
