Definitely the most interesting of the Cadiz, Granada & Seville set of releases, although I’m not sure if I prefer it over Seville per se. According to the interwebs, Cadiz is supposedly made to be similar to Valentino V Pour Homme, which I’ve never smelled, but it definitely feels like a 15-20 year old designer release.
For a moment I thought it would go in a vanillic or ambery Aventus-like direction (like V Canto Adux), but it doesn’t. It’s more mossy and spicy. The spices actually feel ‘old’, as in, they’ve lost their sharpness and kick. It’s more of a vague mossy-amber with some vanilla and at times a typical men’s ‘designer essence’ comes through with a fresh-ish tinge. A hard one to describe the scent of, as it feels rather abstract and soft. Not bad and on the classy side.
