Cacao Azteque is surprisingly un-sweet. Cacao here is hidden under a strong dose of cardamom (and to a lesser extent peppers) in the opening. I’m getting a smooth leathery scent underneaht, which is not what I was expecting. It’s a cold spiciness so you have to enjoy cardamom to love this. It’s not a gourmand chocolate scent.

As it dries, I smell more woodiness and a fruity and floral musk. It’s okay, but far from my favorite Perris.
