Cabaret Nocturne is a daring tuberose, which is a style that I used to avoid, but lately I’ve been coming around to it and this one was definitely intriguing to me.

It’s a slightly animalic tuberose with a nice citrus kick up top. It’s beautiful and opulent, but definitely on the daring side for most people I think, without becoming completely hard to wear. It’s more of a sexy mature scent maybe, than a daring one.

One layer is sweet and powdery, another layer is lemonade citrussy and another layer below is creamy in a way only a tuberose can get. I get a lot of spices as well. It’s my favorite from the 3 initial V/siteur releases.
