Ca Boum is listed as a ‘solar vanilla’. With its Green vanilla note, it doesn’t come across as most regular vanilla scents straight away. It has a floral tinge, but mostly a leathery undertone for me. It feels a bit oily (like fig can be) texture wise.

The saltiness and ‘solar’ aspect are subdued on my skin, but I can somewhat picture a beach setting. As it starts to dry, the sweetness from the vanilla comes through more and more and it becomes a more conventional vanilla scent. It’s a fun fragrance and a comfortable scent that I’m sure will be mass appealing. If you’re a fan of Thomas de Monaco Sol Salgado or Guerlain Bosca Vanilla, check out Ca Boum (although I don’t think it’s as good).
