This is one that sounded interesting to me on paper and from the blotter, but didn’t work out on skin.

Whereas I get more florals on the test strip, when I wore this, immediately the gourmand facets and a strong milky quality overtook the composition.

It reminds me a bit of heating up butter to cook with; sweet, but not overly so, slightly roasted. There’s tiny hints of the booziness, florals and fruits in the background, but it grows into a toffee-esque, caramel gourmand within minutes for me, yet without getting sweet enough for it?

Instead of full on caramel, it’s more like a mix of that and iris/woods that doesn’t develop much on my skin. It’s overly lactonic and after a while, it became quite cloying to wear. Reminding me of Micallef Gourmet.
