I had several friends tell me they loved Bombay Bling and I can see why it’s popular, but it’s not up my alley.
Bombay Bling is an attention-grabbing fragrance with a lot of fruitiness. Honestly, I should probably smell very familiar to many fragrance enthusiasts; it’s a blast of mixed fruits, some florals and a lot of sweetness, that feels like it’s been in many fragrances. In Bombay Bling I do think the execution is really nice; it’s vibrant, less musky, perhaps a tad more spicy than many of it’s sweet fruity and floral counterparts, but it ultimately gets overpowered by the sweetness.
I do like the fruitiness itself a lot; it’s mostly mango and there’s a hint of green left in that. I just wish the vanilla was toned down considerably.
Enjoyable and ‘fun’ scent, but it doesn’t bring anything new or exciting to the table in my opinion.
