Bodacious is one of Boadicea’s most popular and I think also best releases. Even though I’m personally not a big fan of cherry fragrances, this may be the best on out there.

Straight away you get not just the cherry, but a warmer, sweeter fragrance. The cherry is there, but it’s somewhat subtle. There is some of the sour tinges from cherry for a brief moment, before the composition goes completely sweet.

You get a dense, but very smooth amber and gourmand mix. Some spices, some cherry, some booziness. Actually, quite a lot of booziness or at least it sticks around for a good while.

The florals are understated in my experience and Bodacious turns into a fragrance that’s definitely aimed mostly at those with a sweet tooth among us.

I wouldn’t say it’s particularly unique. Most of the scent is very familiar, also from fragrances such as Scents Of Wood Plum In Cognac or Parfums de Marly Herod, but of course, the Boadicea has the stronger cherry note.

It’s hard not to appreciate this one.
