‘For many, after a day of fasting when their glucose levels could use a lift, a tasty post-iftar dessert is almost mandatory. To welcome Ramadan, we’ve composed an attar inspired by a kaleidoscope of cultures the world over breaking their fasts with unique flavors.
Imagine the fruity platters they serve in Thailand – pear, mango, mandarin and banana – in a white bowl of Indian milk pudding, with a splash of African spices and crush Mediterranean nuts for a creamy fusion topped off with a cup of Turkish coffee.
