A while prior to this review, I had a chance to smell Beso de Sol, Beso de Sal & Beso de Fuego as a new trio for Beso Beach. In store, Beso de Sol was easily my favorite of the set, so I made sure to get it on skin for a proper review.

And I still like it, although it’s definitely a bit different from my initial impression, mainly in texture.

See, this is quite a fruity, soft, smooth scent. Like pastel colored, yoghurt-drink type of fruity. Milky apricot, very soft florals. Not a whole lot of distinct scents or contrast jumping out at you, but a gentle, comforting fragrance.

Based on what I smelled in-store, I was expecting this to be very lactonic, creamy even, but on skin it’s definitely a lot more powdery and dry than I figured it would be. Which, frankly, makes it a little less cozy, but as mentioned, still very much a like for me.
