There are no amber notes/accords listed, but I do smell it. I feel like there’s a ton of benzoin in Amber Gold. Initially I thought it would be a fiery, strong amber scent, but almost instantly it turned into almond.

It has tobacco blossom giving a slight smoky almond vibe plus the citrus. It’s super pleasant, almost gourmand. A nice balance between the elements, but you have to enjoy almond (or tonka maybe) to enjoy it as much as I did. Amouage Material smells a bit like this in its drydown to me.
