My first time trying Altaia was this pleasant, and sort of surprising Aman’kay. Surprising, because it goes in a different direction than I’d imagined after the opening.
This opens as a super light, watery and airy scent, which makes it kind of hard to describe in detail. It’s like wearing a slightly scented cloud, with a watery fruity vibe. Pear is the main scent and I do love a good pear scent; however, the issue is always that it seems to fade within minutes. As it the case with Altaia.
So while pleasant, my concern with this was going to be performance. However, after those minutes, instead of fizzling out, this fragrance becomes a lot warmer and creamier. Granted, I prefer the fresh scent of the opening, but at least Aman’kay makes something of it after it fades away.
Warmer, woodier, with a very soft texture still. It’s like a warm, lactonic handsoap. Almost creamy, milky, delicate. And overall, just very pleasant. Still not a great performer I think, but definitely a pleasant, subtle wear.
