‘Alento takes its name from the Portuguese and Spanish word for breath — a quieter, more inward scent, like a held breath between two moments. Orange and aldehydes open into orange blossom and lactones, deepening into vanilla, ambergris, and white musk. Soft, sensual, and glowing from within (…) L’OBJET lets California in, distilled into scent. Ojai and Alento — two new eaux de parfum created in collaboration with perfumer Cecile Zarokian — are drawn from the same golden coast: one rooted in landscape, sunlit and grounded, the other inward, a breath, a quiet current of energy. Together, they open a new chapter for the house — a new perfumer, a new sensibility, a new visual language.’ – L’Objet
