‘Wind breezes through, foliage adorns the cliffside high,
Melodies of enchanted woods echo, as mountains sigh.
Treetops sway, dancing to nature’s composed rhyme,
A flock of Naga wander, exploring the summit in their prime. Sunlight pierces, casting upon shades of green,
Brilliant sparkles, vivid hues, a lustrous sheen.
Aromas of the mountain’s charm spread far and wide,
Delighting senses, stirring joy, where Naga resides.’ – Siam1928
Whereas my first experience with Siam1982, Rasvika (2023), was super cozy and comforting, Aerapata was less up my alley, albeit still a wonderful composition if it suits you.
Petitgrain is quite prominent here and that green, sappy, leafy quality that can be quite pungent, is rarely something I enjoy wearing. Aerapata feels very natural, like smelling your hands after a day moving through bushes or forest.
For a green, slightly earthy and I’d say slightly nutty scent, it also has a cleaner side, which I appreciated more. Some wafts I got more iris and florals and I was more impressed, other wafts it felt more like a spicy green, rougher scent that was not for me.
Still a composition that adds confidence in me enjoying my journey through my Siam1928 samples, as it feels well-made and very traditionally styled.
