Acqua Viva is one of the more lifelike and focused lemon scents on the market in it’s initial minutes. There’s not much that you have to know about this to get a feel for the scent; picture fresh lemon juice, but sweeter.
It’s slightly bitter, slightly sugary, slightly green, but mostly just lemon. On one hand I’m happy that the lemon doesn’t make way for a the woody base much, despite those woody notes being listed. On the other hand it means that performance isn’t great. You do get a hint of woodiness and more of a lemon-candy in the drydown, but it remains relatively refreshing.
