‘This fourth work translates, on an aromatic level, the renovation project of a single-family home located around an alfalfa plantation and in the surroundings of the orchard in southern Alicante. The house began its construction 100 years ago and over time it has been transformed by renovations in the 40s and 80s of the 20th century until reaching the last of the renovations and which forms the basis for this fourth perfume of the Liquid Architecture collection called “100 years later”. In architecture, it’s common to work at different scales: the scale of the place, the site, and the building. This aromatic composition is conceived in the same way. The scale of the place is represented by the notes of melon, fig, and citrus typical of this area: the lower plains of Alicante. The scale of the site is defined by green and spicy notes that evoke the plantations and shrubs near the house: violet leaf absolute, coriander seeds, and jasmine. Finally, there’s the scale of the house itself, constructed primarily of limestone walls and roofs with a fir wood structure. For this scale, or phase of the perfume, woody notes such as Atlas cedar and Siberian fir are used, along with notes that reflect earthy aromas.’ – Woha (Translated)
